Products & Quality
What form do the products come in?
Every product ships as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder sealed in a research-grade vial. All materials are supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro Research Use Only (RUO), and are not for human or animal consumption.
How pure are your compounds?
All compounds are ≥99% purity. Each vial is research grade and prepared for in-vitro laboratory work only.
Are the products third-party tested?
Yes. Every lot is independently tested by HPLC and mass spectrometry. The third-party lab verifies identity and purity before the lot is released.
Do I get a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes, on request. We will email the Certificate of Analysis (COA) documenting the third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry results for your batch.
Where are your products made?
Our products are tested and bottled in the USA and ship from within the US. TWO+DOS is veteran owned and operated.
Certificates of Analysis
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is a third-party lab report that documents the testing results for a specific production lot. It confirms the material's identity and purity for your laboratory records, in line with RUO (Research Use Only) handling.
How do I get a COA for my order?
Email hello@twoplusdos.com with the lot number printed on the vial and we reply with the certificate on file for that lot. No account is needed. If you are signed in, the COA page for each compound is also reachable from the order line in your account.
What does the COA actually verify?
The COA verifies identity and purity for the lot. Testing is performed by HPLC and mass spectrometry through an independent third-party lab.
How do I find the COA for a specific lot?
Check the lot number printed on your vial, then email hello@twoplusdos.com with it. We reply with the documentation on file for that exact lot. Certificates are issued per lot, so a different production run carries a different certificate.
Can I get the COA before my order arrives?
Yes. Each compound's COA page is available before you order. Where results are published for the current lot, they are on the page, and where a supplier certificate is on file, enter your email on the COA page and we email it to you immediately. This is useful when you need documentation on file ahead of delivery.
Why does the COA list a lot number?
Each lot is tested on its own, so the lot number links your vials to the exact HPLC and mass spectrometry results on the COA. Keeping the lot number with the certificate maintains clean traceability for your research records.
Research Use Only
What does RUO mean?
RUO stands for Research Use Only. Every product we supply is intended strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research, and for nothing else.
Can these products be used by humans or animals?
No. These are research materials for in-vitro laboratory study only. They are not for human or animal consumption.
Are these products for diagnostic or therapeutic use?
No. Nothing we sell is intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use of any kind. All items are RUO (Research Use Only) for the laboratory bench.
Have these products been evaluated or approved by the FDA?
No. These products have not been evaluated by the FDA. They are supplied as research-grade materials for in-vitro use only.
Do you provide dosing or administration instructions?
No. We do not provide dosing, administration, or use instructions. Our materials are sold strictly for in-vitro research, so questions of use fall outside what we supply.
What product information do you actually provide?
We focus on the research material itself: ≥99% purity, third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry testing, and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) available on request. Each item ships as lyophilized powder for laboratory research use only.
